Two friends of mine, Alicia and Max, came to visit me in the dorms today. They brought with them a suprise jello creation! After hugs, the smiling couple revealed to me a plate with blue jello letters spelling out, "happy b-day shiraki." I didn't have a cake this year or a real celebration on account of the foot of snow mother nature thought appropriate to give me instead. However, I did get to celebrate the next night with Wade and Chris at our usual Monday-night-applebees-half-priced-appetizer-night-with-our-host-Black-who-is-a-black-man-named-black-i'm-not-joking-night. And tonight I got to blow out a candle thanks to old friends. I will show you pictures, it was awesome!!! I am so thankful for great friends, family, and sunshine.
